Third Wave has done it again! The Porkanara is here! It is one of Third Wave’s monthly crazy specials and honestly, it is an absolute beast of a meal. Set to be a kicker with Itallians globally, the Porkanara is a whole slow-smoked Pig Leg on top of the tastiest Carbonara you’ve ever had! Feast your eyes on this absolute beauty!
What is in the Porkanara?
The Porkanara is made of two gigantic aspects:
ONE: THE WHOLE SMOKED PIG LEG
that! First, they brine the pig leg for around 24 hours. After this, it is rubbed in our spice rub and smoked for an additional 10 hours. This transforms the meat into the softest porkiest experience ever! The pork is so soft you can easily shred it into the carbonara, share it around and have the whole experience be a family affair!
The whole smoked pig leg is actually created when our Chefs at Third Wave and actually takes TWO WHOLE DAYS TO MAKE! Picture that!
TWO: THE CARBONARA
Oh, and then there’s the Carbonara of the Porkanara! This is a silky, creamy carbonara that pairs perfectly well with the pork!
