It is time to discuss the quesadilla at Third Wave Cafe. We have a selection of quesadilla that will blow your socks off with flavour. We also have a unique monthly special that we BROUGHT BACK which rarely happens which is a 3-layered quesadilla on steroids!
What exactly is a quesadilla?
In its most basic form, a quesadilla is simply a grilled tortilla with melted cheese inside. It’s the Mexican grilled cheese and many people add different kinds of fillings. In our restaurant of Third Wave Cafe we fill it with delicious slow-smoked meats that turn the flavours into over-drive!
Our two most common forms are the Lamb and the Pulled-Chicken quesadilla!
Our Lamb quesadilla is a grilled tortilla full of slow smoked spicy lamb, asiago cheese, spring onions and BBQ sauce. Not authentic, but amazing anyway. The chicken one? Is a grilled tortilla full of slow smoked & pulled chicken, asiago cheese, chives, our house made sweet apple bourbon BBQ sauce, avocado and sauteed onions. Jam packed with flavour.
We also serve them as part of an entree in our all you can eat which is NUTS! Picture yourself eating mountains of slow-smoked meats and having a quesadilla as an entree? If heaven existed this is it!

This is the pizzadilla! A 3-layered quesadilla that was a monthly special but has been brought back due to popular demand. It has 3 layers (Smoked-Chicken and cheese, Mac and Cheese and Smoked Brisket and cheese) and deep-fried and served like a pizza. This thing was so popular we have brought it back from time to time. It is no way traditional but in many ways DELICIOUS! You’ve never seen something like this before and if you taste it, will realise why it was brought back.
